Semi Permanent Lashes Halewood

We provide an extensive range of eyelash and eyebrow treatments at our Rodney Street clinic; including HD Brows, semi-permanent lashes (classic, volume and hybrid), lash lifts (LVL) as well as waxing, tinting and microblading. Our eyelash and eyebrow specialists have been reviewed as some of the best in Liverpool.

Classic Semi-Permanent Lashes are an amazing way to enhance your lashes! Your natural lashes are isolated and an extension is bonded to your lash. This extension is slightly darker, longer and thicker than your natural lash. The curl, length and thickness are tailored specifically to your lashes and your desired look, which can be achieved through our extensive range of lash types. It will then remain there until that lash has come to the end of its cycle (usually around 6 weeks) therefore infills are recommended every 2-3 weeks!

Volume Semi-Permanent Lashes are just like classic semi-permanent lashes, however instead of bonding one extension to your lash, we artistically create a little fan of multiple lashes and place this on one natural lash instead! The length, curl and thickness are still entirely down to you! These can give a fluffier and more full appearance and are handy for filling in any little gaps! Infills are required in the same way as classic semi-permanent lashes!

FAQs

How long will it take?

A full set of classic semi-permanent lashes typically takes around 90 minutes. A full set of volume lashes typically takes 2-3 hours depending on how full you want them! Infill can be tailored to suit you with 30-60 minute infills for classic lashes and 45-90 minute infills for volume lashes!

What do I need to do before my appointment?

Make sure you have absolutely no makeup on or around your eyes as this prevents the lashes from properly adhering and we will not have time to fully remove it all. Come to your appointment on time or we won’t have enough time to provide you with the full service. If you require your lashes to be tinted beforehand, this appointment must be separate and 24 hours prior to your semi-permanent lash application.

What aftercare advice do I need to follow?

Do not get your lashes wet for 48 hours, avoid touching or rubbing around the area, do not use mascara or strip lashes, use only oil free products around the eyes, do not pick or pull the extensions, wash your extensions every couple of days with our lash cleanser and make sure to book your infill appointment in advance.

Who will be providing my treatment?

We have 2 semi-permanent lash technicians, both of which have over 2 years of experience in all types of lashes. They are both fully qualified and trained to the highest of standards and have over 1000 reviews between them!

Why do I need infills?

We lose around 3-5 natural lashes per day, and when these fall out the extension attached falls with it! Therefore, infills are required to keep your lashes looking full and fab, which we recommend every 2-3 weeks depending on your lash cycle and how well you take care of them. During an infill, we remove outgrown lashes and replace them with new ones, and fill in any gaps where new natural lashes have grown through!

How do I know if I’m suitable?

We provide free patch tests to all clients to check their suitability! We have a range of different glues which can suit different people! You cannot have lash extensions if you have recently had an eye infection, have trichlomania, alopecia of the lashes, reaction to patch test, scar tissue, cuts or bruises, undiagnosed lumps or bumps, skin conditions around the eye, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, watery eye, blepharitis, corneal disease, glaucoma or dry eye syndrome. If you have any other conditions that effect your eyes, please ask your GP for advice before receiving the treatment.

Do they cause any damage?

Providing you care for them correctly and have them professionally removed when you no longer require them, semi-permanent lashes will not cause any damage to your natural lashes! Just ensure that you fully research your technician and their previous work and your lashes will be in safe hands!
